About Me

I work in IT Service Management for a large financial institution as a Problem Manager, where I investigate major incidents, identify root causes, and collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement solutions to reduce repeat issues. While this role gave me a strong foundation in structured problem solving and documentation, I discovered that my real passion is cybersecurity.

In my free time, I read cybersecurity articles, build home security labs, and found myself doing TryHackMe and Hack The Box labs purely for fun — which made me realize this is what I should be doing as a career. Right now I am focused on defensive security, alert triage, SIEM and EDR investigations, and incident response.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Computer Information Systems, network+ certification, and am currently preparing for the CompTIA Security+ exam and working toward a transition into a SOC or Security Analyst role.
